In a small bowl, mix together the cottage cheese, Greek yoghurt and 40g of cheddar. Season with black pepper and stir until fully combined.
If you like your pitta a bit more crispy, air fry it for 3 minutes at 180ºC before adding the topping. And don’t forget to press the cheese down firmly before cooking – otherwise it can blow around in the air fryer. This also works well with flatbreads if you don’t have pitta bread to hand.
